Last Thursday Champe hosted the Harlem Wizards basketball game. Teachers from different schools located in Aldie came together to play against the Harlem Wizard’s basketball team to raise money for Champe’s athletic boosters. The money raised for the athletic boosters goes towards athletic teams at Champe and scholarships for students.

The event was a great time for all that went. It was very family friendly and many came out and watch the game. The game catered to all ages and made the spectators very interactive with the game. Kids could come on to the court and meet the players and spectators could get things signed. In addition to that, there were many free items that were handed out throughout the game. The night was overall a success that incorporated a good cause with some fun to get the whole community involved.
