John Champe’s track team recently had a very successful time at regionals. With the boys team winning first and many athletes getting qualified for states, Champe had a good run. Bethany Graham won first in the girls 1600 meter run and William Gay won the boys 1600 meter run. In the boys 4×200, Austen Motes, Connor Rawlings, Jackson Kennedy, and Max Karen were the region champs. Karen and Kennedy also won first and second on the 55 meter dash.

The indoor track team has had a great season this year and can only be expected to grow more and more in the years to come. With spring sports starting soon, track can be expected to excel outdoor as well.
