Recent allegation have emerged that Virginia’s Governor, Ralph Northam, was seen in a racist photograph from his page in his school’s 1984 yearbook. The picture displayed a man in blackface next to someone in a K.K.K robe. However, that wasn’t the only offensive picture in the yearbook. There was, at what appeared to be a costume party, a picture of a woman clothed in Japanese attire, a professor with a mug that read: “We can’t get fired! Slaves have to be sold,” and many more. The offensive costume party was shut down along with the yearbook by the school.

Northam originally said he was in an offensive picture, however, that has changed and he denies seeing it or even being in it. HeĀ is determined to stay in office and is planning on hiring a private investigator to find out the truth about the yearbook pictures. Since the allegations arose, Northam’s political position is now in jeopardy.
