On January 27, the price of First Class Forever stamps increased from 50 cents to 55 cents as a result of a 2.5 price increase on Mailing Services products approved by the Governors of the Postal Service. The new rates are supposed to help the Postal Service stay competitive while providing them with additional revenue.
