The 76th Golden Globes on Sunday night was full of surprises. Sandra Oh, known for her role of Cristina Yang on Grey’s Anatomy, became the first Asian woman to host an American awards show. She also became theĀ first woman of Asian descent to win best actress in a TV drama in more than three decades. Her speech acknowledging diversity became one of the highlights of the night.

Some of the winners of the night included: Bohemian Rhapsody for best drama motion picture, Green Book for best musical or comedy, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse for best animated, and Roma for best foreign language motion picture.
