Six John Champe graduates who are now freshmen in their respective colleges made a visit back on Wednesday to meet with this year’s seniors and give them college advices.

“We did share with them that taking morning classes is definitely the move,” one of them said, “so that you can get everything out of the way and then have all your time to do whatever you want.”

The alumni were, however, mildly disappointed that less than ten students visited the career center where they were for the entire third block.

“You guys, students should really take advantage of us coming,” said Niya Ahmed, now freshman at VCU, “we can really tell you good information if you want to hear it.”

Nevertheless, everyone tried their best to help, even going outside the career center to talk to seniors in lunch. When asked what key advice they wanted to share with the students the most, this was their answer.

“Work hard, play hard.”
