Last Saturday, the winner of the Heisman award was revealed to be Kyler Murray. Kyler Murray is a junior who attends the University of Oklahoma. He scored a total of 2,167 points with Tua Tagovailoa following with 1,871 points and Dwayne Haskins with 783.

The Heisman award is the most prestigious award for college football. It is given annually to a college player that represents excellence combined with diligence and hard work. The process is a ballot system consisting of voters from all over, which includes sports journalists and former Heisman winners.

“This is something I’ll remember my whole life,” Murray said. “There was a lot of hard work that went into it. It hasn’t sunk in yet.”
