Every kid, and kid at heart, knows who Buzz and Woody are. Joining our lives in 1995, Toy Story has been something that has been in our world for quite a long time, almost 25 years. They will join us one last time in the summer of 2019 for their last appearance. Pixar has only provided a few facts on what exactly the plot is through a brief trailer put out recently:

A new toy named Forky is introduced to the Toy Story gang by Bonnie. However, Forky is not technically a toy, he’s a handmade toy from a spork. Forky has an existential crisis wanting to be a spork, not a toy. In order to help him out, Woody and his friends help Forky understand how to be a toy by setting off on a road trip

“It is a very, very, very special collection of movies that have been put together that, I think, hits each one of us in a completely individual way,” said actor Tim Allen, who voices the character Buzz Lightyear.

The movies in Toy Story have been known to be a tearjerker for many people in the audience and this last one is no exception. Many of the actors in the series expressed how difficult it was to film the last movie and how they were very emotional throughout the whole recording. However, throughout all the emotions, the actors described the movie as something special.

“It is so emotional; it’s so funny; it’s so big. The idea they’ve come up with, I’m startled,” said Allen.

People all over the world can witness Toy Story’s last masterpiece on June 21, 2019.
