The riding season is kicking off here at Champe as the equestrian team prepares for the first two shows of their season. As part of the International Equestrian Association, the shows involve challenging events with randomized horses to display girls’ control of their steeds. These first two competitions will take place at Stone Gate Stables on Saturday and Patuxent Run Farm on Sunday.

“I’m very excited to see the girls’ show this year,” coach Stephanie Moi said. “[The girls] have worked really hard this year, and I can’t wait to watch them compete.”

Students can support the team by buying kettle corn from Ms. Moi in room 2613!
