Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting

This past Saturday, tragedy struck Pittsburgh when 46-year old Robert Bowers entered a synagogue and opened fire, killing eleven people and and injuring six. His reasoning was due to his hatred of jewish people, and it was even stated that he would frequently post anti-semitic threats online. Bowers’ current fate is being decided; most believe that his actions should result in the death penalty, which even our president agrees with.

“These senseless acts of violence are not who we are as Americans,” Governor Tom Wolf said in a statement. “My thoughts right now are focused on the victims, their families and making sure law enforcement has every resource they need.”
