October has arrived. Halloween is coming up, we’re going to have a three day weekend, and most importantly, it’s a pink month. Breast Cancer is one of the most common cancers that exist in the world. It is a popular myth, only females can get the cancer. However, there are many cases where men can get it too. It is a curse that affects this country, and it’s only a matter of time where we defeat it one step at a time. Organizations such as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation help combat the cancer and spread awareness of its impact. In our school, we have the Dig Pink Volleyball game, the staff volleyball game, and the Pink Out Football game.  All of the proceeds go to various organizations that are helping to combat breast cancer.
