Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn

Sunday, September 22nd marked the first day of autumn. After a rainy and lukewarm summer, we finally arrive at, arguably, the nation’s favorite season; fall. What makes fall such a unique season compared to the others is the leaves changing to red, yellow, orange, and brown. Believe it or not, the leaves can also change to magenta, black, blue, purple, and pink. Fall is also known to be quite rainy and dreary most of the time. You can never go out in the fall here in the rain without worms appearing on the ground. Since winter is drawing near, expect it to be dark as early as 5 in the evening. Fall is the season that holds two popular holidays; Halloween and Thanksgiving. One is an excuse to get free candy, or even hold parties, whilst the other is to eat some turkey and have interactions with relatives you may (or may not) like that much. With all that said, enjoy this cool autumn weather to the fullest, and be prepared for the winter ahead.
