Last Thursday, the girls field hockey team beat Dominion 3-2. This was the team’s first win of the season. This was also the first time the team had scored three goals in a game. Dominion has beat Champe’s team in previous years, so this win was one to celebrate. Senior, Julianna Ghally, a forward on the team, scored two out of the three goals. When she scored she shared a moment with her twin sister, senior Ann Ghally, the goalie on the team, by hugging in the middle of the field.

“I honestly was not expecting to score two goals in one game, I had a thought in my head to score, but didn’t think it was actually going to happen”, said Ghally. ” I felt so excited to score and thrilled we came out with a win!”
