Positive Experiences in Educational Relationships, more commonly known as PEER, is a student-run organization at John Champe High School. PEER strives to turn Champe into a welcoming, inclusive community for students from all walks of life. To do this, PEER helps students who struggle with any situation such as bullying, stress, family, relationships, or school issues.
Aside from Champe, PEER has many outreach programs. At elementary schools, members can often be found putting on puppet shows to demonstrate social skills. Additionally, PEER works closely with Mercer Middle School and provides them the same services that Champe students receive.
To seek help from PEER, you can go to the counseling office and ask to look through the PEER binder. Ask Ms. Pangman to schedule an appointment. The PEER member you select will most likely meet with you during advisory.
For more information, be sure to talk to Ms. Pangman at the counseling office!
