A new year at Champe starts off with a new principal. Mr. Tyson caught the attention of many students at school for his famous line at the end of every announcement, “I love you guys.” It took most kids by surprise because it’s something never before heard by staff members or students, but is soon becoming a regular expectation.

“The reason I say I love you at the end of every announcement is because I figured some people are never told during the day that someone loves them,” principal Kevin Tyson said. “I don’t want that to ever be the case for any other kids in this school. They’ll know everyday that someone loves them.”

Hopefully this opens eyes for our Champe community to keep spreading the love in our school.
