It was Sunday afternoon when a mass shooting occurred once again in Florida, this time during a Madden NFL 19 video game tournament in Jacksonville. Six months after the Parkland shooting in the same state, the tournament shooting has reportedly taken the lives of Taylor Robertson and Eli Clayton, two competitors at the tournament, and eleven others injured, as reported by the Miami Herald. The suspect was found dead, presumably taking their own life. The suspect apparently was part of the tournament, however was eliminated from it. It’s assumed that the shooter’s motive was out of frustration of losing the game. The battle of gun control still continues with the recent events.
