I finished the book a little while ago and the end had me on edge, with them going to Paris to make the Taliban Terror heard and I hoped that it would work and it did! I feel sorry for what they had to go through and made me realize that I’m lucky.

Latifia is really brave for starting her own school, will she get caught? Will she really give up everything to give the kids an education? Her father to became very brave with standing up to the guard at the checkpoint. How did he behave so calm before hand? About her mom’s health, how much longer does her mom have?

In “My Forbidden Face”, things are really getting interesting with the mother and Latifa getting sick and the way the mom is, I wouldn’t be surprised if the mom does die, and I’m wondering what’s going to happen to Latifa and her family?

The book is very intense and it stands out to me that some women got beaten just for wearing a certain color shoe and it’s unthinkable that women are imprisoned in their homes. I believe Narguesse was very brave to stand up to the Taliban and I don’t understand why some women want to go out.

Heath Ledger is a hottie!

The movie had a fabulous ending thanks to the great kiss! The actors were amazing, especially Rufus Sewell, and the person who played Jocelyn. The movie was a classic medieval fairy tale filled with romance, adventure, and emotional moments. For example, the part where William reunites with his father. Due to the setting of the movie, some of the context of the dialogue was hard to understand and a couple of parts may make some people uncomfortable but it’s still fabulous for anyone who loves drama, fairy tales, action, comedy, or romance!
