Drawing people from the side is something I don’t do often, because it is really hard for me to get it looking correct. However, today I figured I would share a bit of how I go about it in the few instances I give it a shot.
- Start with a circle, choose which way they will be facing
- Draw a small curve in for where the forehead leads into the nose
- Draw the nose and then draw a line that goes down and curves in
- Make lines with some curve for the neck
- Draw lips, make sure they are not flat, a curve from the nose to the top and a curve from the bottom to the chin
- Add the eye in the general area of the dip from the forehead into the nose, then draw the eyebrow
- Draw the ear
- Choose what hairstyle you want and begin that (I messed up on mine but you get the idea)
