So a few days ago I was informed that this summer my family and I will be traveling a lot. My parents then continued to say that one of those trips will be to Hawaii with my cousins that I absolutely love. This was monumental for me for a multitude of reasons.
- I am very used to going to Hawaii and go often but my cousins have never been. It’s exciting to finally take them when they’ve been wanting to go for years but have been to busy to go
- The last time I had a full blown vacation with them has got to have been years ago. Also, the vacations that we did have together have all been road trips so I have yet to experience a plane ride with them.
- Ever since I moved from Prince William County to Loudoun it’s been a struggle to hang out with them. When I lived there I would see them daily since they were my neighbors. But, with the 45 minute to sometimes an hour drive it’s hard to hang out a lot and I often only see them during family get togethers
- It’s not very often that they go to beaches. My cousins are skiiers so, their trips are often to the northern states in very cold places that are optimal for snow. We’re the opposite of that so it will be fun to show them our favorite spots and tan
Together we plan on going to a bunch of amazing places together on the main island. There are so many things I want to show my cousins from the beautiful beaches like the Waimanalo and Kailua beaches to the amazing views from hikes like the diamond head trail and the mauna kea hike. I can’t wait
