Once upon a time, there was an ogre named Shrek. Shrek lived in a swamp far away from everyone else because he didn’t like them bothering him. Shrek would tear down trees in his swamp so he could add on to his $15 million mansion that he bought with the money that he gained from his movies. Shrek really wanted to build a bowling alley in his mansion. One day Shrek tore down a tree and out of the stump of the tree came the Lorax. The Lorax wasn’t happy that Shrek was tearing down trees and not replanting them. You see, the Lorax speaks for the trees, and the trees do not like being chopped down by a big green ogre named Shrek. The Lorax told Shrek what he was doing to his swamp and Shrek agreed that what he was doing was bad, so Shrek stopped chopping down trees and replanted them. This made the Lorax very happy, so the Lorax gave Shrek a flag football participation trophy that he got in 3rd grade. Shrek accepted the trophy and it now sits as his prize possession on his trophy shelf.
