We had s’mores lab in science about a week ago but I never got around to writing about it in my blog so today I’m going to go in-depth into the s’mores lab that we had in Mrs. Mitchell’s 5-6 A class. For the first half of class we finished our notes on conduction convection and radiation and then we got to the beautiful s’mores. Mrs. Mitchell told us a couple basic safety precautions like to always wear glasses, not to put the marshmallow on top of the fryer. We divided our selves into groups of six, each group going after the one before them finished. Unfortunately I was in the last group, and I was jealous of people already enjoying what I knew what would be perfect marshmallows but when my group got up to do the lab, we realize that we had a ton of time and we could perfectly roast our marshmallow since we still had about 15 minutes left of class. So we spent  10 minutes perfectly roasting our marshmallows and then we put them into our graham crackers and Hershey’s chocolate, and dug into the perfect tasting marshmallow ever tasted. The only downside to the day was that we didn’t have any time for doubles, but still eating marshmallows in science is still pretty good, wouldn’t you say?
