It Lives in My Laundry

There is a laundry monster in the machine,

Rumble and tumble,

It loves to be clean.

It eats my socks and leaves only one.

It likes to hum when the washing is done.

The laundry monster leaves me lint,

Fluffy and dusty with a light gray tint.

It warms my clothes so they smell nice.

It rings a tune once, but never twice.

The laundry monster will be my weird friend,

Forever and ever until its end.
