This past week we have had a few days off of school due to freezing rain.

Here are some tips for dog walking in the rain and ice!

1. Wear a warm coat, but make sure it has a weather proof shell so your dog doesn’t get wet/cold.
2. Don’t take your dog on too long of a walk because they will get cold a lot faster if they are wet as well.
3. Don’t plan a walk at a time of day where it is raining particularly hard because it will be torture for both of you.
