Oldy but a Goody

Over the long weekend I decided to watch the Breakfast Club. I’ve always wanted to watch it but never had time. Everyone was telling me how good it was and I was really excited to watch it. If you haven’t seen The Breakfast Club is about five high school students who meet in Saturday Detention and they learn more about each other and discover how they all have a lot in common. Molly Ringwald is in it and plays the “princess”, the girl who everyone thinks has a perfect life. I loved the movie because the cast all played their roles really well and made it seen like they portray their characters. The movie seemed slow at times but then something funny, sad or dramatic would happen and make you more interested in the movie. The Breakfast Clubs biggest theme is Identity because all the characters have an identity socially defined by their peers and adults. Overall, I would give this movie a 10/10 because I really enjoyed watching it and I could probably watch it over and over again.
