My Christmas Tradition!

Hey there!  it’s Keeley, and today I’m  feeling extra festive.  In today’s post, I am going to talk about a Christmas tradition that my family has.  I don’t exactly know when this tradition started, but I know that we’ve done it every year since I can remember. So without further ado, here is my Christmas tradition blog post.  Enjoy!

Every Christmas Eve my family prepares for Christmas.  We make sure everyone’s presents are under the tree and make any last decoration changes.  Christmas eve night is where the Christmas tradition happens.  Our tradition is opening a pair of pajamas on christmas eve.  Normally, the week before christmas our family decides who is getting pajamas for who and we all spend the week picking the perfect pair for each other.  On the night of Christmas Eve, we all open our pajamas and put them in the wash.  We all wear our new pair of sleep wear to bed and wear them to open presents in the morning.  Our tradition is pretty simple but still great.

I hope you enjoyed this short blog post about my Christmas tradition!  Now that you know mine, I want to hear about your holiday traditions.  If you celebrate a holiday other than Christmas, feel free to tell me about it in the comments.  Also, leave the link to your blog if you have one so that I can check it out.  And like always, remember to live your life with Soul!

  1. Hi Keeley –

Thanks for sharing your Christmas pajamas tradition with us. I wonder…do you have photos from over the years of everyone wearing their colorful pjs? I used to buy matching pajamas for my kids when they were little and take so many photos. They were cuties indeed! Now, because everyone is so tall, I have to special order Tall pajama bottoms. There were a few special pairs wrapped under the tree this year…just like at your house.

    Happy 2021!
