Today was the day of the picnic and my siblings and I were excited. Mom was in charge of bringing red balloons and pastries, she placed the pastries in a brown picnic basket. We drove to the picnic. It was a hassle on our way there since my younger sister Kailey kicked my older brother Marcus. When we arrived I dashed to where the chef was cooking. There were loads of hotdogs, I was shocked since I never had one. After I ate food, it was time for the fireworks. The fireworks were extremely loud and was frightening Kailey and me.
Closing question what is the best ice cream flavor and why?
In my opinon pistachio is the best flavor because of the rich cream taste, and the light green color.

What’s the best ice cream flavor? Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia is my all-time favorite. Chunky Monkey, in my opinion, claims a distant second. If you haven’t ever had a hot dog, try one of the vegan hot dogs made from plants. We have two vegetarians and one vegan in our family; plants rule–even in the hot dog world. HA HA

I enjoyed the story of your picnic outing, Kaiah. It flows very well and you have very easily included all the prompt words. I love the idea of red balloons and pastries; they are bound to make any picnic go well. Your description of the hassle with your younger sister feels very real too, and yes, fireworks can certainly be very frightening, can’t they?
As for ice cream, salted caramel is my favourite!
