What is Fake News? (Angela and Scarlett)

Fake news can be very confusing. That’s what we are here to talk about. The most asked question that we get is, What is fake news? Fake news is a story or article that is made up of lies and exaggerations.. How do people that make fake news get away with this? They talk about real topics and then copy parts of real stories just to write around them. They take real pictures and state things about them that are not true at all. They also make people say things that they really didn’t. Why should you know about fake news? You should know about this for multiple reasons. What happens if your just scrolling online and then see something… The world is going to blow up in 3 days because of an asteroid! You start to freak out and tell everyone you know. Soon enough this one story has created fear of something that doesn’t exist. Fake news can make the government make laws or rules about things that are made off of panic, not facts.  Fake news can also cause fights or arguments between people over stupid things.
