The weather was completely insane today. I woke up an hour before my alarm because of the loudest gust of wind I had ever heard! (I’m pretty sure that’s not a hyperbole) I didn’t know that school was canceled yet so I went downstairs to start practicing piano. When my dad came down and told me that there was no school today. At that moment I believed I said something like “Thank the merciful heavens above.” My bus always, I mean ALWAYS comes late and I didn’t want to be out in that wind for more than a nanosecond. So now for the entire day I’m listening to gusts of wind that sound like the earth getting shaken up by the wind.
