TedX Talk!

I haven’t posted here in so long! Hello everyone!

Today, I did a TedX Talk with my classmates in Communications.
Did I feel nervous? Yes! But I got it through and successfully finished it all in the amount of time I had. It was stressful, and I don’t think that I did that well… But I’m glad I got it over with.
It all started with how I had absolutely no idea what to do for this project. From looking around from website to website, I had suddenly noticed the music in the background of our classroom, playing ambiently. It gave me an idea, and how I noticed most teachers don’t actually put music in the background of their classes sometimes! So, what did I start with? I started to research how music can benefit students that are working. I learned numerous facts and wrote tons of information about it, and soon enough, I was finished with the draft sheet of my TedX Talk!
Although I had been struggling a bit, I noticed on the first time of presentations, I saw people with slides. So what did I do? I researched more facts on this topic and made some slides for them! If you want to see them, the link will just be below here.

So, what did I do afterward? I didn’t do much… But, I was able to finish these slides in time, and honestly, I felt pretty complete. I already did a few things the night before I had done the Ted Talk, and honestly… I was so pumped up! But, fast forward to when I was finally presenting… I was so nervous. I was practically sweating up there and could only look at the screen and zone out while mumbling whatever I was talking about. I didn’t have a script because I didn’t want to look down constantly and it would make me conscious of my own doings, so I decided to wing it and rant about it in front of everyone. Did it work? Sort of! I wouldn’t say it was perfect, but I’m glad that I got it finished while I could and I didn’t have any accidents happen in the middle. Sometimes I did stutter and struck up, but I was able to go through it and have people listen to my Ted Talk.
Overall, I don’t have much to say… I feel like this was a very anxious thing to do for my first time, but I’m glad I got through it while I could. It’s a hard task to talk in front of a bunch of people without noticing what they’re thinking or if they judge you.

Thank you for reading! I know it’s not much, but I feel like this project was very simplistic to me and was finished quickly. I appreciated everyone else’s talks, and what they said!
