I chose this piece as inspiration for my 3rd artwork. I think that the detail that the artist was able to produce is amazing and I hope to achieve the same with my piece. Additionally, the composition of this piece is very strong since most of the elephant’s body and ear aren’t visible. I also think that having the elephant’s head in a turned position adds interest because it isn’t straight on.
