Where was I born?
1. I was born in Fairfax, but I moved 4 times before I got to live in sterling. I used to live in my Nana’s house growing up. My mom worked a lot when I was born, and after a couple years we got our own house!

Fav Food!
2. I can eat 1-2 small jars of pickles at a time. I recently was looking for Dill Pickles at the store with my dad. As we got into the car and went back to his work, I opened the jar of pickles and made my dad try one, as I have never seen my dad eat a pickle before. I then found out that my dad in fact HATED pickles. My dad is the only one in my family who dis-likes pickles.

Hobbies!
3. I love to skateboard. The first time I ever went skateboarding was with my bestest friend Gwen. We went with her older brother to a park, near where we live. After skating around a bit, her brother fell and broke his foot. I went home and they went to get boba before going to the hospital.

Friends!
4. I tend to be very loud at times. With my friends I can’t seem to really shut up, even when they are telling me something private, I tend to sometimes shout it out without even realizing. Even my dad says I’m too loud at times. There was this one time with a friend at the library at my old house. We went and I started laughing so loud we almost got in trouble by the librarians.

Broken Bone?
5. I’ve broken a bone before. I was in P.E 6th grade, first block A-Days, May 4th. We were playing this game called Lightsaber tag. (Cause it was May the 4th.) I was standing and holding the “Lightsaber” out (It was a foam noodle.) to get someone who was running by. My friend was chasing the guy who was running by, and knocked me over. I fell right on my wrist and I started to cry. Like a lot. My P.E teacher just watched and said into the microphone “Skylar, or Skywalker down!”. He didn’t even try to help me up. Ms.Brewer went to get me up while I was crying. We went walkin to the nurse while she put a binder under my hand to keep my hand and wrist elevated. I asked to go home early and my dad came to pick me up. As I got home my mom thought that I was faking my wrist hurting. (I’ve never faked being sick or being hurt before.) SO she told me to go over to her, and as a joke she touched right where I told her it hurt. I said ow, but I laughed as well… Probably not the best way to convince my mom. After a couple of days the pain got worse and it was the weekend. My dad told me that we were going to the doctors, because the pain is still in my wrist. We went and the doctors put a little wrapping around it and said we should probably go and get an X-Ray. We were really lucky as not many people were there so we got to go right after the appointment. We went and I thought this place looked weird, but also had a calm, but creepy vibe to it. I got my wrist scanned and we went home. As I got home I called my bestest friend gwen. She was on vacation to Hawaii and so I would always call her when I could. We were talking and I told her that I might have broken my bone. She was shocked, but I just laughed it off. All of a sudden my dad got a phone call, so I went on mute. After a while my dad told me to go get ready, and I asked why. He simply said I broke my wrist. For some odd reason I started laughing, and my dad just rolled his eyes at my childish behavior.

Brother!
6. I have a little brother that LOVES dinosaurs. He can name pretty much all of the dinosaurs! He can also name other animals. He got to learn all this from watching WIld Kratts and Dinosaurs shows. I was the one who got him into Wild Kratts. I used to think my brother was just guessing when he was looking at the dinosaurs, so one day we got this dinosaur bingo for Cole’s birthday, and I tested to see if he knew the dinosaurs, since they had the names on the back, and he couldn’t read. SO after showing him all the pictures, he got every single dinosaur right!

Writing!
7. I love to write. My uncle Dan had just published a new book that he wrote. I talked to him and my cousin Joe to help me get better at writing, and give me writing advice. They gave me writing advice for fantasy, and other genres too! We plan to talk more about writing the next time we see each other!

8. I also love music! I always liked music, but when I REALLY got into it, it was the first car trip where I had my phone. I connected my phone to the car cause I was super bored, and we listened to my music playlist the rest of the car ride! Thankfully my dad and I have the same music taste 😅

Summer!
9. For every summer vacation, my family and I go up to Vermont! One time when we went to Vermont, my uncle David brought up his speed boat. We also have tubes for water tubing. I went on a banana tube with two of my cousins, and we all fell off and I hit my head with one of my cousins and I gave them a concussion.

Christmas!
10. Every Christmas my whole family and I go up to NY to see family for Christmas. One Christmas I got Roller Blades, and so I went to their garage and I got to try out my new Roller Blades! I fell a couple times but I had lots of fun!
