In a previous post we introduced you to the HTML 5 Audio/Video recorder. Now say hello to Schoology Rubrics. Any time you create an assignment in Schoology, you can choose to assess it with a rubric. You can create rubrics aligned to your courses, use rubrics shared by others, build new ones on the fly, or reuse previously created rubrics.
Once students submit their work, you can use the rubric to score the work and leave feedback.
You can even use rubrics to score student work that is completed offline. Oral presentations? Posters or artwork? Not a problem with Schoology. Simply create an assignment and disable online student submissions. You can still add a rubric, and students will still see the directions and due dates. When it comes time to review the student work, you can open up Schoology and score the work product or performance using the attached rubric. The Schoology mobile app makes it even easier to score student work with rubrics on-the-go using your phone or tablet.
