In many ways, I’m very inexperienced when it comes to gauche. I used some videos from YouTube to help me figure out how to use it.

I don’t really like how it’s going so far mostly because the skin looks very orange, but I’ll update as soon as I can.

I don’t draw insects as much and I’m approaching my artwork #4 for art IV in a semi realistic, but mostly stylistic way. I’m also planning to do either gauche or watercolor.

I find more confidence in tackling a blank paper when someone draws with me. Basically I would play one of Kim Jung Gi live drawing video and draw with him. Despite having a vague sketch, I was constantly afraid of messing up.

– He’s one of my biggest inspiration and was one of the reason why I started using the brush pen.

I’m much more happier with my composition as of now, but since I was rushing with the background it turned out messy. I definitely think paint markers saved me a lot of time to get a lot of details in. I’ll clean up the background once I find the time to.

I don’t like where I’m going with this due to how it looks a lot similar to my artwork #2 so I’m planning to change my composition.

I decided to switch to a brush pen because originally I was planning to do just pen, but I felt that pen would take too long and I also wanted to get better with brush pen.

I cut out some magazines for inspiration and filled my sketchbook with brush pen sketches. Lately I’ve been using the brush pen a lot and I’m hoping to do more artworks with the brush pen.

Here’s the finish product of my artwork 3! I made this to represent how I would perceive the future. In this piece, I thought that there would be some inhabitable land, which leads to overcrowding cities.
