I made this character, because I feel like it represents me best. I chose androidify to make my avatar, because I like the style of the android characters, and I use android products. This character represents me in many ways.
I gave my character a graduation cap, because I’m graduating 8th grade this year. I also like basketball, but I’m terrible at playing basketball, so I like to watch it. Even though I’m chill at school, when I’m at home, it’s a whole different story. I keep my energy in when I’m at school, and after I get home, I let my mind run loose. I gave my character an android shirt, because I’m a fan of android products. If you like apple over android, that’s okay. I like my shoes black, because if you get them dirty, it’s hard to see the stains.
CHILDREN’S BOOK
The picture shown above is the cover of my picture book titled “The three little pigs and the Big Bad Wolf: Making things right. This is the sequel for “The three little pigs and the Big Bad Wolf”, and I made this for communications studies class.
I wanted to write a sequel to “The three little pigs and the Big Bad Wolf” because it is one of the most popular children’s books of all time. I remember reading it when I was younger, and I enjoyed reading it.
I wasn’t sure on what the process of making the book would be like, and I didn’t start on this book. I had tried to write a sequel for another book, (A color of his own by Leo Lionni) but I couldn’t figure it out, since the book didn’t have a lot to go off of, instead, I chose The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. With this book, I was way more confident with what I was going to do, contrary to the other book, which I had no plans for writing a sequel to, anyway. I mostly knew what I was doing, so not much planning was needed. I didn’t do it on paper, since I’m not a fan of doing things on paper, and I prefer to do things digitally. My characters are pretty much the same, but the moral of the story is to treat others how you want to be treated. In my book, the pigs destroy the wolf’s mudhouse, so the wolf learns to treat others with respect and kindness. (The pigs also destroyed the house because mud is a vital component to their lives.)

I chose to write about the short winter break this year, because I was given this topic, and even though I was given the topic, the topic interested me anyway. I always enjoyed a long winter break, so finding out that we only had 8 days for winter break this year really surprised me.
The process for writing this article began when I was given the prompt. I didn’t have a rough draft, and went straight to writing the article. I planned on interviewing a couple of teachers and some of my friends, so I could get the input of what our peers thought of a short winter break. The interviews went well, and I got a lot of information from the interviews. Now that I look back, there wasn’t really a challenge at all.
