From the window behind my desk you can see the street I live on, some tall trees, and my neighbors houses. I don’t usually smell anything because my windows are usually not open. If it’s really windy, then I can hear the wind. At night I can hear cars (if they’re loud) pass my house. My window has white blinds, so if I touch my window, then that is what I touch. When my mom is cooking downstairs in the kitchen, I can smell the food she’s making from my window.
In my front yard, there is a little “sidewalk” that goes from the right side of my driveway, to my front door. There are three steps that you have to go up in order to get to my door. My front door has a glass screen in front of it. My house has a two car garage. There’s bushes that line the front of my house. There are a couple of very tall trees. In the mulch along the side of my house, there is a small Japanese tree.
If I went to my brother’s room, then you would see my backyard and a park. In my backyard is a grey patio with a black table, hammock stand, a small basketball hoop, and stairs leading to my back door. There used to be a playground in the grass in my backyard, but we sold it, so now there’s just grass. There is a hill that my brothers, cousins, and I go sledding on. A few years ago, the county built a fence at the top of the hill, put mulch at the top half of the hill, and plants some bushes and small trees. So unfortunately, we can’t go sledding that much with the plants and mulch in the way. There is a park behind the hill called “Byrne’s Ridge Park.” The park consists of two soccer fields (one of the soccer fields is also a football field) and three baseball fields.

You used a lot of great detail in your post! I bet you really enjoyed sledding down that hill when you were younger. It stinks how you can’t have the same sledding experience anymore, now that the fence is there!
