The NBA has been awfully rigged this year. If you are any fan of the NBA, then you know the dynasty of the warriors and the journey Lebron has with the Lakers. Lebron becomes the GM and the star player of his team. There has been a lot of struggle with the way they have been playing lately and how they missed the playoffs. Lebron is clearly not the player he was back on the Cavs as Magic Johnson(who was president of the Lakers) left the team and left Lebron on his own no longer believing in him and the team. Lebron could not get Kawhi nor Davis and he seems to be at a loss since he badly wanted to defeat the Warriors this season. Demarcus Cousins came out with another injury and hasn’t been playing ever since he might even go to another team next season. We all know Kevin Durant has a slight injury and will not be playing for a while during the playoffs. But the Warriors are still championship contenders without these players as Steph and Klay go takeover mode.

There was a heated debate on whether James Harden or Giannis Antetokounpo should win MYP. James Harden has been the leading scorer doing the same lame stepback 3’s he always does, but Giannis is becoming the most improved player and he is about to win his first MVP. There was also a heated debate on whether rookies Luka Doncic or Trae Young should win MVP. Trae Young has been showing some improvement right now, but I think Luka should win it because he was consistent all throughout the season. Many other players had good seasons as well. The Sixers and Nuggets really surprised me. I remember 2 years ago when they used to be one of the worst teams in the NBA, but now they are one of the best. The Nuggets had the best record in the NBA and the Sixers have one potential rising star as well as 3 All-Stars. Joel Embiid is the best center in the NBA right now while Ben Simmons is on the road to becoming another Giannis in another 2 or 3 years.

SpaceJam 2 is underway as Lebron is struggling to find potential candidates who are willing to go to Hollywood for 2 weeks for a shoot. I don’t think any player in the league would want to join the Lakers at this point. The Lakers have been making awful decisions ever since Kobe retired and I don’t have faith in them anymore. But, that’s all I have to say. Peace. 🙂 ✌️

Sonic movie’s Controversy

If you are a movie fanatic like me, then you might have heard of the new Sonic trailer that came out a couple of weeks ago. Paramount Pictures and Blur Studios have a pretty decent record of producing good quality movies over time, but this is the first time that I think they have finally messed up now. My first initial reaction to the trailer was not too bad, it seemed like an okay movie but one thing that was completely off was the design of Sonic himself.

We all know the iconic Sonic, big eyes pointy years, small belly, and big red shoes. But the sonic shown in the new live-action trailer was humiliating to the CGI animators. He was made to be more realistic which disappointed many fans. He had small eyes, a bigger stomach, smaller ears, thicker legs, and not so big hands. He looked like a real hedgehog and not the one we all know of because if you see his design, it does not look like he is fast.

The whole trailer was just simply comedy and not too much action which bothered me a little bit. I expected it to be a remaster of the old show, but instead this new Sonic his clumsy and just makes corny jokes in my opinion. Dr. Eggman does not seem to be the one I’ve always known like I know he is supposed to be realistic and all, but he is supposed to be fat and clumsy, but we see in the trailer that his characters and personalities are not at all similar to the original version in my opinion.

There were some flaws to the trailer, as in Sonic being able to dodge like a hundred missiles in a second, but is unable to dodge a tranquility dart. If anyone has noticed. The studio announced a complete redesign, to me, that’s is just going to cost a whole lot more money and the movie is expected to release in November, which I’m not sure if they can properly accomplish in time. I just don’t understand why they would even come up with that design in the first place, there wouldn’t be all of this talk and trouble if they had just stuck to the original design that everyone loves. But, I’m not complaining, because at least they are trying and I am looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. Peace. ✌️

YNW Melly gets a Death Penalty

If you are a huge fanatic of the hip hop world. Then, you might have heard of YNW Melly. He is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Gifford, Florida. His real name is Jamell Maurice Demons and was born on May 1, 1999. He is best known for his singles “Murder on my Mind” and “Mixed Personalities”, featuring Kanye West. This guy has been getting lots of attention over the years throughout social media and the hip hop industry. He is well known for committing illegal felonies like drugs and smuggling weapons. He has gotten arrested numerous amount of times for these kinds of things.

On February 2019, He was arrested for the first-degree murder which could have a connection with the shooting deaths that have occurred in October 2019. Recently TMZ has published an article about YNW Melly getting his death penalty if he gets convicted. On March 2019, he has pled not guilty to the double murder charges that he has committed and is currently awaiting trial. Although he is being accused, many people say that he should not deserve a death penalty but rather life in prison or maybe for a couple of decades. The Parkland shooter has killed 17 people and has not gotten a death penalty, but is facing a tremendous amount of punishment which people are not very pleased about.
