Most of us must know by now that Apple is the largest company in the WORLD! The total budget that Apple has skyrockets above everyone else. Currently, it is estimated that Apple’s net worth is 945 billion and it’s almost reaching 1 trillion. That’s larger than any other company if you include companies like Amazon, Google, and even Microsoft. As we all know, the man himself Steve Jobs started all of this when he and his roommates decided to create a new innovation. The man who invented touchscreens and invented the new display, features, and color of what we now call a “Smartphone”. Apple has been the most successful phone company ever. They are the leaders, the new iPhones that come out every year get better and better. The iPhone 6 in my personal opinion is the most successful. The astonishing new display, the touch id, the new plus phone, and many more.
It was unbelievable as to what new features Apple was able to create. But, we need to realize that there comes to a point where Apple gets too much money and they just start getting lazy. These days Apple seems to care more and more about the money rather than the consumer satisfaction. Think about the IPhone 7. How much did that improve compared to the IPhone 6. First, they take away the headphone jack, which causes lots of problems because first of all, how are you supposed to use your charger and use your headphones at the same time? You can’t. Now that the headphone jack is removed, you have to use the specific earpods that Apple gave you as a set, and those are the only ones that can work. No other earpods and headphones will work because the jack is removed. So if you lose those earpods that have that specific jack, you’ll have to buy another one as a replacement.
Now, the airpods were a great idea from Apple. But the fact that Apple charges $160 for it is just Bogus. Airpods have always been around even before Apple popularized it. Apple always makes their products sound new and that’s how they attract consumers. I’ve seen Airpods from other companies on Amazon that are around like $50 and they’re just as good as the Apple Airpods. It can be easy to lose them and Apple doesn’t even have an app to help you locate them. The IPhone 7 is barely any thing new, sure they made the camera a little cooler. Sure the megapixel display is better and the the frames in improves. Yes, I know that the IPhone 7 plus has a duel camera, but the camera hardly improved. The design the Apple made for these phones have been made before from other underrated Android companies. The home button just feels simply wierd and Apple tries to make you think that it’s faster and more convenient. But, in reality it feels like your pushing the entire phone to another angle. Now moving on to the IPhone 8, they might have just called it the IPhone 7s. There is barely any change and Apple charges you $600-$700 for the regular and plus. Sure the ram might have been slightly better and the fusion chip is different. But that honestly sums up the differences. That is just disappointing. Then, Apple decides to add more propaganda into their phones but coming up with the IPhone X. It’s just ridiculous to me the fact that people are actually willing to spend $1000 on a phone that just has face id and moving emojis. I’m aware that the display is a lot better, but those are just looks. It’s so easy for you to damage your IPhone X and it’s like you just have to buy a shatterproof case with it. I don’t even think for one second that they made the display better when they took away the home button. It makes it so much harder to get used to the new way on unlocking your phone and having to go through the struggle of not knowing how to close my tabs properly without a physical home button. They also make accessories that I can probably guarantee you, that they have been around. But like I said, Apple makes everything sound new. Face ID has been around for awhile but Apple tries to look cool. Who knows what the government can do to your face ID’s, I don’t trust them in using that. They’ll be able to stalk you a lot better now. The moving emojis are overrated and not even worth buying for. They also rotated the camera 90 degrees just to make the consumers think that they’ve improved it just buy the looks of it. But in reality, none of it is as good as it looks.
Along with many other abilities included in the game. Just like origins, you’re disembarking on a brand new journey, when you start the game, you are given with the option of being a male or female before you start. Your pet hawk “Ikaros” is back from origins. In case if you’re not familiar, Ikaros can scout anything from above. He can fly anywhere you want on the map and spot anything.
Along the way, you’ll meet many new friends alcibiades, socrates, aspasia, and many more. Unlike origins, the historical figures are drawn out into the game now have more of a persona who have powerful and historical perspectives. In origins, the writers didn’t make the characters like that, it was hard to tell if Cleopatra in the game was actually Cleopatra because there weren’t detailed perspectives on how she would have been. There was no stability. But Odyssey isn’t like that, it feels like a real adventure!
Now, the controls and mechanics are highly similar to what you would expect in origins to feel like. This game is set in 431 BCE during the Peloponnesian War(400 years before origins). For those who are unfamiliar, the Peloponnesian War was a war between Athens and Sparta for control over the Greek world. Athens led the Delian League while Spartans led the Peloponnesian war. The Spartans ended up winning in the end because they had more experience in fighting. You have the option of starting as a male or female, and you are fighting for Sparta.
