Cub Run Watershed Clean-Up: September and October 2019

Cub Run RECenter is hosting numerous Watershed Clean-Up Days. Watershed Clean-Up Days bring the community together to clear the earth’s arteries by removing tires, bottles, cans and other debris carelessly dumped in local waterways. A great community service project for individuals, families, service groups and students.

Hello!

We are reaching out to you because we are looking for high school student volunteers for our after school program! Below you will find information for your students to take advantage of this amazing and personalized opportunity!

Looking to make a difference in your community? Boost your resume? Just share what you’re passionate about?

Ashburn’s BEST After School Program is looking for high school students interested in becoming after school enrichment volunteers! Through our enrichment program, we allow our student volunteers the opportunity to share his or her passion with our elementary students! Cooking, photography, reading, drawing, sports, anything! This is your opportunity to teach something you LOVE and make it your own!

Don’t have anything specific? That’s okay! Volunteers can assist each other in programs or with our after school teachers daily curriculum. Volunteers must be eligible to attend aftercare at-least twice a week!

Through this program, you will gain:

  • The experience of creating your own lesson plans and schedule
  • Leadership experience
  • Education experience
  • The opportunity to touch the lives of our amazing students
  • The opportunity for employment with our awesome team!
