Some of the holidays my family and I celebrate
Hi! Im Kaiah. In this blog post, I will be telling you about holidays that I love and celebrate with my family. I enjoy holidays, for I cherish the time I spend with my family.
New years- My family and I go to church on New years Eve, and then go to my grandparents house to watch the ball drop on New years.
Easter: My family and I go to church, and then go to my grandparents house to color eggs.
4th of July- Usually I would go to New York to visit my family and watch fireworks for 4th of July, but since COVID-19 happened my dad barbecued instead.
Halloween- Usually I’d go trick or treating with my brother and parents, but last year I went with my friends instead. Last year my friends and I dressed up as the purge, we were out trick or treating for 4 hours.
Thanksgiving- Usually I would spend Thanksgiving at my grandparent’s house, but since we moved my family and I spent Thanksgiving here. The dish we always eat is macaroni and colargreens.
Christmas- Last year my family and I hosted Christmas, but since COVID-19 happened we aren’t hosting, and will be spending Christmas at home. One of my favorite christmas songs is

Hi Kaiah –
I love how you added all of the photos and links to your holiday post. It adds so much visual and interactive appeal! I was surprised to learn that your favorite Christmas song is….I won’t tell because a guest needs to click and find out. Still, it was fun to know that one of your favorite holiday songs is one that I used to sing when I caroled around the neighborhood with my high school friends. Of course, no one carols anymore, but we had a blast doing it.
What’s my favorite holiday? Mmmmm. I love Christmas. Decorating the inside of my house, buying presents, attending candlelight service, and having all of my family home is the best. I also love Halloween, mainly because of how neighborly it is. Plus, growing up, my Mom made all of my costumes, so I have fond memories of all her wild creations.
Happy New Year!
