The sun was out, and it was shining hard
I could feel the butterflies in my stomach as I await my turn
I go in my seat and buckle up
As i’m going up, i’m starting to feel really nervous
We go up on the highest point, then the ride stops
You could see the whole park from your seat, and it was amazing
Everyone is screaming and i’m praying that I don’t die
The ride starts to move again and drop
Suddenly, my butterflies turn into tickling in my stomach
Screaming and joy were everyone’s expressions
The swoops, turns, and drops were very entertaining
I didn’t want the ride to end
Finally the ride stopped, and I look over to my brother and his hair is messed up
And he looks at me and my hair was messed up
That was the journey of the Griffin.
1.The type of poem that I published is a sensory poem
- I choose this event for my sensory poem because when it happened it brought out a lot of feelings when i went on the ride.
3.The tone of my poem is thrilled.
4.The theme of my poem is, The journey of the Griffin is worth living for.
5.”I could feel the butterflies in my stomach,” This figurative language is hyperbole, it contributes to the poem because it shows that I was really nervous.
“I didn’t want the ride to end.” This figurative language is hyperbole also, it contributes to the poem by showing that I was having a lot of fun on the ride.
- A way that i revised was that smiling, to joy. Another way I revised was that I changed fun to entertaining. I did these revisions because I wanted to have more precise vocabulary.
7.This poem was easy for me to write, because I knew where i was focusing, and once I choose a topic the words just started to flow.
8.I am pretty satisfied with my final draft because I feel that I have met, and exceeded the requirements
When some one searches for his essential thing, thus he/she
wishes to be available that in detail, so that
thing is maintained over here.
