I guess it’s normal now,

To see flowers and banners,

To send hopes and prayers,

And adults will cry for a week,

Then will get over it,

Until it happens again.

You say you’ll do something,

you say you’ll stop it,

But, those, those are just words,

words disappear as quickly as ghosts,

Actions don’t.

So what are you going to do,

What are you going to do Mr.President,

For these kids who are being killed by guns,

You care for lives when they are unborn,

I guess just not in schools.
