On January 6th, 2021, Trump supports stormed the Capital during the time that the Electoral vote was being counted.

On this Wednesday, many Trump supporters stormed the Capital thinking that they could take control of the government and have Trump’s support. However, all the rioters are now being searched for, put into jail, and put on the no fly list. At this moment, President Trump has made no comment about the actions being taken against his supporters. While the rioters are being hunted down, many police officers and Republicans who work in the Capital are being investigated for colluding with President Trump and the rioters in order to help with the ambush from the inside. These rioters did not seem to understand the extent of what they had done when they decided to storm the Capital. They took selfies with police officers, chased workers, and decided to film and photograph themselves inside the Capital, thinking that no punishment would be waiting for them when they were done.
