Volunteer at Inspire Loudoun!

Inspire Loudoun is an amazing event because of our incredible community! We would love it if you were able to help us out by volunteering some of your time either the day before (March 6th) or the day of the event (March 7th)! Volunteers usually have a 1 hour shift during the event, so there is still plenty of time to present or attend sessions at Inspire Loudoun. Please see the job descriptions below.

Job Descriptions:

Friday Night

Volunteers will prepare the event space in the evening before the event. Possible responsibilities include arranging tables, setting up decorations, and posting signage. This role also involves filling attendee bags with materials, and ensuring all necessary items are ready for the morning.

Ask Me/Snack Table

These volunteers serve as on-site guides, helping attendees find locations, answer basic event questions, and direct them to the appropriate staff for complex issues. They also manage the centrally located snack table(s), keeping it stocked and tidy throughout the day.

Lunch

This team assists with the smooth flow of the midday meal, which involves directing attendees to the dining area, ensuring items are stocked, and helping to manage lines. They also help staff with basic tasks like ensuring tables are cleared and that all attendees receive their meals efficiently. Volunteers are needed for the main cafeteria and for the presenters lounge.

Registration

Volunteers here are the first point of contact for attendees by welcoming them to this fun day of learning, checking them in, and distributing event materials. They also handle on-site changes or questions regarding registration, ensuring all participants are accounted for.

Breakfast

The volunteers for this job arrive early to assist with the setup and service of the morning meal before the event officially begins. They help keep the breakfast area organized, guide attendees through the food lines, and manage coffee/beverage stations.

Presenter’s Lounge

This role focuses on providing support and a comfortable environment for the event’s speakers and presenters throughout the day. Volunteers ensure the lounge is stocked with refreshments, help presenters with last-minute needs, distribute event materials, and guide them to their respective session rooms on time.

Clean Up

These volunteers are essential for dismantling the event space, which includes collecting signage, putting away extra tables, and removing decorations once the day’s activities are finished. They work with the facility staff to ensure all trash is properly disposed of and that the rooms and furniture are returned to their original state.
