Hello!

After teaching Biology for 17 years I made a switch in 2021 to CTE, without looking back. I hold a BS in Biology and MEd from Frostburg State University and a MS in Biological Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.  I attended Culinary School at the Allegany College of Maryland and have been a sewist since 3rd grade, thanks to my mom and grandma.  My husband is a Middle School Dean in LCPS and I have two beautiful daughters.

For 2024-2025, I am teaching Intro to Culinary Arts, Fashion and Independent Living.  I am the advisor for Family and Career Community Leaders of America, FCCLA and the CTE department chair.
