Stranger Things is a show that has taken over many homes since its release in 2016. With season four under way, fans all around the world anxiously await to see what this new season will hold. Stranger Things is a horror/sci-fi web television series. It starts with a boy mysteriously vanishing from the town of Hawkins, Indiana. Over time, they discover more and more secrets that the government has been hiding. A portal to a world called the Upside Down is also discovered, and various monsters like demodogs, the Demogorgon, and the shadow monster are uncovered as the seasons go on. There are currently three seasons released, with a fourth season on the way. Season four is in the process of being filmed and is set to possibly be released in late 2021 or early 2022.
The creators of Stranger Things are the Duffer Brothers. The producers are the Duffer Brothers, Shawn Levy, and Dan Cohen. The cast consists of Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour. With this being the confirmed cast for season four, fans await to hear who the new kids on the block will be for season four. Stranger Things is filmed mainly in Atlanta, Georgia, and other various locations around the world. The show takes place in the early ’80s from 1983-1985, with the year 1986 being the time frame for season four. The show was nominated for various awards 210 times and has won 63 of those nominations.
If you’re watching Stranger Things, it may not be a surprise as to why some of the actors are familiar. A familiar face you may recognize in the show is Winona Ryder, who plays Joyce Byers on the show. You might recognize her from the movies Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and Heathers. Another familiar face you may know is Millie Bobby Brown. She plays Jane Hopper or Eleven on the show. Millie has made appearances on episodes of Once Upon a Time and Modern Family. She has also been in the movie Enola Holmes and Godzilla Vs Kong. As well as David Harbour, another familiar face who has made appearances in the movies Quantum of Solace and Black Mass. A lot of the younger cast has also been featured in other things outside of the Hollywood industry, like Broadway. The actors Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin all used to be on Broadway together. Besides those six cast members, a lot of the remaining actors made appearances in other things too, so to be honest, Stranger Things did not do half bad casting their cast.
Stranger Things has become a big part of my life since its release in 2016. If you’re ever looking for a show to binge watch, I would 100% recommend Stranger Things for you. The amazing special effects incorporated within the scenes really makes Stranger Things more developed as a whole. Stranger Things has three seasons out currently, with each season having eight to nine episodes. It should take you roughly 25-26 hours to binge completely. Season four is currently in the process of filming, so now might be a good time to start watching Stranger Things!
