On Wednesday, October 23 2019, GSA members will travel with Woodgrove and Dominion high school students to the Smithsonian Museum of American History and the Newseum in Washington, D.C.

Itinerary (subject to change based on bus information)
9:15 Report to 217 – Pre-trip circle
9:30 – Board bus
10:30 – Arrive at Smithsonian Museum of American History. Our main focus will be the “Illegal to be You” exhibit, but we will likely have some time to look at other things.
11:30 – Walk to the Newseum
12:00-1:00 Lunch at the Newseum w/Woodgrove and Dominion Students (Lunch should be $10-15; work with Ms. Gray if this is an issue!)

2:30-3:00 Return to Park View
We will return to Park View sometime during 8th block; at that time, we’ll have a debriefing session and share our reflections about the experiences we had.
