Exploring the World
In today’s blog I will collaborating with Harshita from Around the World in 80 days.
Her top places to visit are
- Italy : Italy is a beautiful historical destination, it is one of the most visited destinations by tourists. Some great places to take some pictures are Milan, Rome, Venice, and Florence.
- Brazil : Brazil is home to the carnivals! She can’t wait to party with friends.
- Thailand : “It’s really pretty and I love elephants”. Thailand is home to many endangered species and their are many volunteer opportunities.
- Australia: Harshita would love to see kangaroos and she also wants to snorkel in the barrier reef.
- Egypt: Egypt offers both traditional religious excursions and it also holds a lot of history with millions of stories and tales of the ancient people.
WARM WEATHER
Spring is coming, it’s almost here! People are the happiest when it’s warm. Here are some outfit pieces to look super cute in any photos! The outfit is a key part of a good picture because it makes you feel confident and look better! The second step to a great picture is the lighting and angles, find a way in which you feel that you look your best.
More photography tips!
As the weather slowly gets nicer this means the motivation to go outside is starting back up. Take Pictures! Here are some of my tips.
- Try not to shake the camera. Learn how your camera works or even use a tripod
- Incorporate depth in your images, give the viewers the sense that they are there. (Get closer)
- Practice! The only way to get better is to shoot everyday and try new things often.
- Use flash in daylight! In the daylight their may be shadows that reflect but by turning on the flash they can be filled.
- Take candids, unplanned poses can lead to great surprises and successful photoshoots.
- Keep it simple! Don’t stress and overwhelm yourself, take it easy and slow down.
Course Selections
It’s that time of the year, course selections. This is a very stressful time because the classes you pick will define whether you will succeed or not. I’m trying to weigh it out and take some challenging classes while at the same time picking courses I enjoy. Photography will be one of the classes I will select to enroll in. I can’t wait to take a class that will focus on something that I am passionate about. In photography we learn how to handle cameras and all about the composition of taking pictures. Since photography is a half semester course I will also be taking graphic design. I will be trying something new, I’m so excited.
Attached is a picture of Harshita choosing her classes for next year!
Goth Gorls take on photography
Savannah is one of my good friends, and we share many classes together. Today during history class we had a mini photoshoot. Friends make taking pictures so much fun and they inspire me. I enjoy taking pictures of my friends and I, they take any ordinary situation and they make it unique and entertaining.
Savannah Nelson is 15 years old, and she recently dyed her hair black. She looks like Violet from the Incredibles.
The Start of Something New
When times get hard and life gets a little twisty its ok to stop and take a break. Recently that’s what I’ve been doing. We all do different things to help us calm down or focus on the positives in our lives. I enjoy taking pictures, with every click a beautiful image is captured. It helps me see how beautiful the world around me really is and how badly I want to explore it. Instead of looking at the negatives in my life it helps me see that times will get better and we will all get through this. The best is yet to come. Whether it be a beautiful sunny day or a gloomy Sunday morning, everyday is a beautiful day. Some days are better than others and some days are so bad you never want to look back. Everyday is a growing experience and every picture that is taken shares a memory behind it, good or bad the memory can still be told because I am here to tell it. My blog posts will consist of photography and how it makes a change in my life. Today is a great day to make a change and capture it.
