Farmwell Library Book Bus Pickups!

UPDATE (11/16/20): The Book Bus is ending, and the last run of the Book Bus will be Monday, November 23. It’s been great while it lasted! Fear not, although the Book Bus is ending, Farmwell will continue to provide curbside library book pickup on Mondays.

This past Monday, 9/21, we had our first Book Bus pickups go out for students! We’re very excited to be able to get books into students hands this school year, even during distance learning.

Here are the details of that process:

  1. Look up the book in the IPAC to see if it’s in our collection
  2. Fill out the book request Google Form by 1 pm on the Wednesday before pickup. You must be logged in with your school Google account to access the form.
  3. Wait for an email from a member of library staff to confirm the book pickup
  4. Show up at your chosen Book Bus stop the next Monday at the appropriate time. For the most up-to-date Book Bus stop information, you can look at this map.
  5. Let the person at the Book Bus know you are there to pick up a request from Farmwell Station and give them your name and student ID number. They will get your book(s) for you.
  6. You can return library books you are finished with to the book return box at the back of the Book Bus (Mondays only) OR to the book return box outside the front door of Farmwell (Monday-Friday).
