After the lime has been reintroduced into the fridge, it has become “healthier”. It seems after a while, it has preferred the cold environment the the warmth of my backpack. I decided it was time to cut open the lime, finally. The texture and characteristics of the lime has dramatically changed since the last I’ve seen it. It has embraced a yellowish green color and has increasingly shown signs of old age. The skin has been lost in some areas and is much more soft. I suppose the best I could do with the lime is make limeade or introduce it into some dish. As i cut open, the somewhat green and squishy inside released a lot lime juice on the counter. I moved into a bowl to save as much of it that i could. I tasted it and my face immediately wrinkled under the sour taste. The lime’s taste was overwhelming but it has slightly sweet after taste.
