Upcoming Assessments

General SOL Information:

There are 3 SOL testing windows during the school year.  Summer, Fall and Spring.  The Summer window, usually early September, is for students who completed SOL courses over the summer.   The Fall window, usually split between December and January, is a time for students who took virtual courses in the fall term, and students who passed courses in prior years but do not yet have the Verified Credit.  The Spring window, May/June,  is the End Of Course window for students who took the courses during the school year.

Students take SOLs to earn Verified Credits towards Graduation and to meet State and Federal requirements for Accreditation.

For the Advanced Studies and the Standard Diploma, all students must earn a total of 5 verified credits, one each in the following categories: History, Math, Science, Reading, and Writing.

All students need to complete CPR/First Aid certification.  If you have questions about CPR/First Aid certification testing, please contact your student’s counselor.

All students are required to take an AP, IB, DE, or honors course,  earn a CTE credential such as the W!SE Financial Literacy Certification or Workplace Readiness exam, or take part in a High Quality Work Based Learning Experience.  If you have questions about CTE testing, please contact Mr. Matthew Swank, CTE department chair.
